We had high hopes for our darling Samson becoming our second stud boy, however after a very short period of time living outside in his stud house it became very clear he was unhappy and was not going to settle into his new role as a stud cat. He has a very loving, affectionate nature and he missed me as much as I missed him. Obviously his happiness is paramount to us and it much more important than our breeding plans. So after a lot of thought we have had him neutered and he is now back in the house with us, settling back in to the role of being surrogate father to the kittens which is what he enjoys doing the most.
Kye, has been named after two Egyptian Gods. Ka meaning Vital Force of Life and Min, a God of Fertility Kye was our Stud cat for a very short time, however despite the meaning of his name and even though he gave us some very beautiful kittens it became apparent to us the Kye was not happy living the life of a stud cat out in his own heated chalet with TV and radio. He missed normal everyday pet life to much, so because his happiness is much more important to us than him being our stud cat we have had him neutered and he will return to being a pampered pet.
Plezetobe Precious 3 IC's Precious is a Caramel point, and is the first cat we bred ourselves and we are very proud her, she is Sally's daughter. She has been shown as a kitten and an adult and has done excellent. However she didn't really like showing very much so we have decided to retire her from the show bench and let her live a life of being a pampered pet. She did have one litter of kittens but didn't take to motherhood very well so we had her neutered. She did however give us a beautiful blue point kitten that we have called Precious Pearl out of her only litter, Pearl is already taking after her mother with her successful show career.
October 2006 Sally was our first breeding girl who has done us proud, she was an excellent mother who gave us some stunning kittens. Unfortunately her motherhood duties came to a sudden end when she suffered from a pyometra and we had to have her neutered. She is very happy now in her retirement and is a typical lap cat that likes to take life at a stroll and it is starting to show on her waistline as she has become a bit of a fatty.
